Celebs in the NYC Marathon – all you need to know!!

A number of celebrities participated in the New York City marathon on Sunday Nov 7th, and we have the results for the celebrities you must know about.

We start the day with celebrity chef Bobby Flay. Flay had completed the marathon twice before, however this year Flay’s goal was to finish the race in under 4 hours. He almost did it too, missing out by just under two minutes. His final time was 4 hours, 1 minute and 37 seconds.

Next up former ER star Anthony Edwards was running to raise funds for Shoe4Africa and completed the race in a respectable 4 hours, 4 minutes and 45 seconds.

Edwards was followed closely by Ethan Zohn, winner of the Survivor:Africa reality TV series and cancer survivor. Zohn pocketed a cool $1,000,000 as winner of the TV series and today finished the race in an admirable 4 hours, 16 minutes and 20 seconds.

Next up we have model and actress Veronica Webb, who managed to finish the race in a time of 4 hours, 59 minutes and 12 seconds.

Rescued Chilean miner Edison Pena ran an admirable time of 5 hours, 40 minutes and 51 seconds despite needing ice packs for his knees along the way – great effort for a person trapped underground for a gruelling 69 days!

Today Show host Meredith Vieria finished the race in 5 hours and 59 minutes, not a bad effort for her first marathon.

Howard Stern Show co-host Robin Quivers, who ran today to benefit her foundation as well as two charities that focus on improving nutrition among families, finished the race in respectable 6 hours and 9 minutes.

And finally we have the Today Show's Al Roker, who took pretty much the whole day to finish the race – 7 hours and 9 minutes – and I am sure a few comments will be flying around on the Today Show on Monday morning!
